Submission Guidelines

 Arkham Bridge Publishing is currently accepting submissions from aspiring new authors. To ensure prompt and accurate reviewing of your submitted work, please follow the guidelines listed below. At this time, we are seeking original works only. In the future, we may be open to submissions to the Wildstar universe.

We are interested in the following genres:

• Science-fiction (soft, adventure-style)
• Fantasy
• Alternate history
• General fiction

We are not interested in poetry, screenplays, children's/young adult fiction, or 'hard' horror. Other genres not listed may garner our interest if well-written.

We are only interested in completed novels of at least 60,000 words. Please do not submit query letters for prospective novels.

Physical Submissions

To submit a physical copy of your manuscript, please format it as follows:

• Margins: 0.5" on all sides
• Font: Serifed, no smaller than 10-point (Times New Roman preferred)
• Double-spaced
• Number all pages, and include author name and title of work on every page

Include a cover page with at least the following information: phone number, e-mail address, name, mailing address, wordcount, and a short (no more than one page) pitch regarding your book. Also include a short (no more than three pages) synopsis of your entire book, including ending. Also include a self-addressed stamped envelope for replies. For international submissions, please ensure you include an e-mail address, as due to postage costs we will not reply by mail to international submissions. Submit the first 10,000 words or first three chapters, including cover letter, synopsis and (if necessary) SASE, to:

Regrettably, we are unable to return submissions. All submissions will be recycled following reading. We will respond to all submissions (either by mail or e-mail), expressing our level of interest. If we are interested in your work, we will request the full manuscript of your novel for our consideration.

We respond to most physical submissions no later than four months after receipt.

Electronic Submissions

To submit an electronic copy of your novel, please include the following:

• Your name, mailing address, return e-mail address (if different), wordcount, and phone number
• A brief (no more than three paragraphs) pitching your story
• A short (no more than one thousand word) synopsis of your story
• The first ten thousand words or first three chapters using a san-serif font (Arial preferred)

Enclose all of this into the body of an e-mail, with the subject 'SUBMISSION: <Your Story Title Here>' to submissions - at - arkhambridge - dot - com. Do not include any attachments. Due to the risk of viruses, all e-mails received that do not adhere to these guidelines will be deleted without being read or replied to.

We respond to all submissions no later than four months after receipt. If we are interested, we will request the entire novel for our perusal.

Wildstar Universe Novels

At this time, we are not accepting submissions for novels set in the Wildstar universe.
